Double PFA nomination for Gareth

Gareth Bale has been nominated for the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year Awards by the Professional Footballers' Association.

Double PFA nomination for Gareth

The Welsh flier - who won the senior PFA award in 2011 - has been in outstanding form this season with 21 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions including 17 goals in 27 starts in the Premier League.

This year's PFA Awards dinner takes place in London on Sunday week, April 28.

Here are the nominations for both PFA Awards:

Michael Carrick - Manchester United

Eden Hazard - Chelsea

Juan Mata - Chelsea

Luis Suarez - Liverpool

Robin van Persie - Manchester United

PFA YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR

GARETH BALE - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Christian Benteke - Aston Villa

Eden Hazard - Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea (on lioan at West Brom)

Danny Welbeck - Manchester United

Jack Wilshere - Arsenal
