Jermain Defoe inspired England's comeback against Holland in Wednesday night's friendly draw at the Amsterdam Arena.
The striker entered the fray as a second half substitute with Fabio Capello's men trailing 2-0 but struck twice to secure a 2-2 final score.
His opener came just three minutes into the half as he beat the Dutch offside trap and superbly controlled Frank Lampard's pass over the top before racing into the box and sliding the ball in off the post.
The equaliser followed in the 77th minute and owed much to fellow substitute James Milner's tenacity down the left, the Villa man beat his man before squaring low for Jermain to finish sliding in from close range.
It takes JD's tally to 10 goals in 35 caps.
