Sunday’s encounter, live on Sky Sports' Pay Per View, is being billed as a grudge match after Glenn’s departure and our recent attempt to sign defender Dean Richards.
But Glenn couldn’t care less — he’s just interested in three points.
“I couldn’t care two monkeys how it’s perceived,” declared Glenn. “All that matters is that we come out with three points at the end of the 90 minutes.
“It’s a game of football and that’s all I’m interested in — getting my team as fit as I can, patching them up, seeing who is available, going out there, being positive and getting the three points which would hopefully set us off on a run. We’re capable of that.”
Of course, a host of injuries and Gus Poyet’s suspension — and not forgetting players returning fropm international duty - are making planning for Sunday’s clash tricky to say the least.
“With the injuries as they are it will make it more difficult,” added Glenn.
“From trying to get to A to B, if you like, the journey that would take two hours will take five hours. But we’ll get there in the end, I’m sure of that.”
We are 11/2 to win 2-0 and 10/1 to triumph 3-0 - click for details.
