Spurs U19s 1-0 Wimbledon
Coach Pat Holland admitted Ronnie Henry's late, scrambled winner just about summed up Saturday's encounter.
However, he still found plenty of positives from a disappointing clash.
Pat took up the story. "We went for a different system with five in midfield, four at the back and just the one striker which I think is very difficult for the lad up front.
"In fairness, Michael Malcolm worked really hard and put a lot of effort in, so that was good.
"It wasn't a classic, neither side never really got to grips with the pitch and the passing at times was disappointing.
"In fact, the winning goal summed it up - it was a mishit corner, their defender miskicked it and then Ronnie Henry miskicked into the back of the net.
"We kept going and I was pleased with Ronnie and Ricky Dobson, thought they did ever so well and Nicky Eyre in goal, he's come in after playing for Jimmy for most of the season and he put in a decent performance as well, so there were plusses out there."
