Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Gary Doherty will lead the Republic of Ireland's attack in tonight's friendly against Greece.

Big 'Doc', who plays in defence at Spurs but is preferred in an attacking role by his country, will partner debutant League of Ireland striker Glen Crowe in Athens.

It will be Gary's 13th cap and he will be aiming for his third international goal.

Caretaker boss Don Givens told the FAI's official website: "This is not a time for experiments and Greece will be a formidable team playing at home. A win would be very important not just for me but the squad as well after all that has happened in recent times. I am reasonably confident of a good result."

Republic of Ireland: Given (Newcastle Utd.); Finnan (Fulham), O'Shea (Manchester Utd.), Cunningham (Birmingham), Dunne (Manchester City); Healy (Celtic), Carsley (Everton), Holland (Ipswich), McPhail (Leeds Utd.); Crowe (Bohemians), Doherty (Tottenham). Subs: Kiely (Charlton Athletic), Colgan (Hibernian), Breen (West Ham United), Quinn (Coventry City), Partridge (Coventry City), Hoolihan (Shelbourne), Delap (Southampton).
