Doc in, Carr out for Ireland

Gary Doherty has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for the vital World Cup qualifier against Holland on September 1, but Stephen Carr will be absent through injury.

Our dynamic full-back is suffering from a knee injury and is set for a further scan next week to assess his progress.
