Doc expects boost

Gary Doherty says the return of senior players from injury will be a huge boost for Sunday&rsquo&#59;s FA Cup semi-final.<P class=MsoNormal>Sergei Rebrov, Stephen Carr, Stephen Clemence, Ledley King, Sol Campbell, Oyvind Leonhardsen and Tim Sherwood are all striving to be involved against Arsenal at Old Trafford.<P class=MsoNormal>Gary was outstanding alongside Chris Perry and Anthony Gardner in stemming wave after wave of attacks against the Gunners in Saturday&rsquo&#59;s Premiership defeat.<P class=MsoNormal>But the Irish star suggests Sunday may be a different story.<P class=MsoNormal>He said: &ldquo&#59;Henry and Wiltord are so fast and clever with the ball, a real handful, but we&rsquo&#59;ve got so many top-class players to come back I&rsquo&#59;m sure we&rsquo&#59;ll give them a better game on Sunday.<P class=MsoNormal>&ldquo&#59;I don&rsquo&#59;t believe Saturday&rsquo&#59;s game will have much bearing, certainly not in our camp.<P class=MsoNormal>&ldquo&#59;We had so many players absent and the fact a few may come back will be a huge boost for us.&rdquo&#59;<P class=MsoNormal>&lsquo&#59;Doc&rsquo&#59; insisted he &lsquo&#59;couldn&rsquo&#59;t wait&rsquo&#59; for the semi-final. &ldquo&#59;You are in football for games like this,&rdquo&#59; he beamed. &ldquo&#59;It&rsquo&#59;s live on television, a semi-final, a derby - it&rsquo&#59;s a frightening prospect."<P class=MsoNormal>&nbsp&#59;<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
