Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Two-goal hero Gary Doherty revealed how a half-time rollicking brought us to life at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
We were disappointing in the first half, trailed 2-0 inside 12 minutes and our problems were compounded by the loss of Ledley King after a nasty clash of heads with Kevin Kilbane.
But a change to a 4-4-2 system, the arrival of Willem Korsten and that tongue-lashing from the boss did the trick as Stephen Clemence’s first goal of the season and ‘Doc’s’ double turned it around.
Gary revealed: “The gaffer really geed us up at half-time and it’s a good result for us. We deserved a rollicking at half-time.
“We were awful in the first half, never got going and although we were okay in patches, nothing was really fluent.
“He really had a go at us, got us going and we showed a lot of resilience to come back. I don’t think many teams come here and come back from being two goals down. I thought we coped well.”
Meanwhile Gary, in fine form at the back all season, once again produced the goods in an attacking role.
So was he a defender or striker? “I haven’t a clue yet,” he admitted. “I’m just going to take it easy and to be honest, I don’t want it to be my decision, I want to leave it up to the gaffer and the staff and when they make a decision I’ll go along with it.”
And finally, what about the one that got away - his header wide from six yards? "That's a bit of a sore point!" he smiled.
By Paul Miles at the Stadium of Light

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
