The Spurs pair grabbed the goals as Ireland - also including Stephen Carr - beat Georgia 2-0 to stay in the hunt to top Group 10.
Gary headed home the opening goal in the first half before Robbie bagged his 16th international goal to move within five of Niall Quinn's all-time Irish record.
His 15th goal arrived at the weekend against Albania where Doc's cross-shot in injury time was deflected home for the first of two vital wins in four days.
Doc, now with four Irish goals to his name, said afterwards: "We got a lot of stick on Saturday - even though we got the result - but tonight I think we got the rustiness out.
"It's about three weeks since we last played in the Premiership and that's a long time not to play.
"But we got the performance tonight and the result and full credit to us."
Meanwhile, Steffen Iversen was an unused substitute as Norway drew 1-1 against Romania in Group Two.
Gary Doherty and Robbie Keane did the business again for Ireland on the Euro 2004 qualifying stage last night.
