Do you remember...

Posted on 26 September 2001  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

'Do you remember when...' is a new series where we want you, the fans, to recall great encounters from the past against our forthcoming opponents.

This weekend we face Manchester United, so we're therefore asking the question 'Do you remember when...Stevie Carr smashed one in from 35 yards?'

You have to cast your mind back to October 23, 1999 for that magic moment as Carr, Steffen Iversen and a Paul Scholes own goal amounted to a memorable 3-1 win - one of only three defeats United suffered that season. Were you at the Lane? What are your memories?

But this feature isn't just about that match, if you have any fond memories about clashes against United we want to know about them. Has a trip to Old Trafford been your most memorable in football? What about our 4-1 win on New Year's Day back in 1996?

Great moments, tricky journeys, memorable chants - we want to know your United stories.
