Andros Townsend led the way with the opening goal on 12 minutes and was in fine form, setting-up our next two goals for Paulinho - his first for Spurs - and Roberto Soldado.
Danny Rose curled home a cracker from 20 yards for 4-0 and Roberto completed the scoring, volleying home Nacer Chadli’s cross for his third goal in two games.
It was a textbook away performance in Europe as the lads controlled possession, took their chances and kept a clean sheet - Hugo Lloris made a couple of fine saves when called upon.
The result puts us in a strong position for the return leg at the Lane next Thursday, August 29 (8.05pm).
“I’m very happy,” said Andre. “The lads did extremely well from start to finish and we were always in control.
“Dinamo looked strong on the counter-attack, so we had to be aware of that and not give the ball away cheaply.
"Considering the trip, the time difference and our efforts against Palace, I’m extremely pleased.
“It’s just the beginning so for the team to perform like that was something very good.”
