The Buglarian hitman has impressed in pre-season with fine strikes against Birmingham and Borussia Dortmund and it now looking to bank his first competitive goal for us at the Reebok Stadium. We kick-off at 5.15pm.

"I'm excited - it feels like I've been waiting a long time for this game!," said Dimitar. "It's my first Premiership game, my debut and maybe a I'll have few nerves as well but when I step onto the pitch all that will be forgotten and I will try to score goals for my team.

"It would be wonderful to score in the first game. It is the dream of every striker to score on his debut at a new club and after that to score and score again.

"I've been told that Bolton are a good team, I know a lot of their players by name and they play a physical style but we cannot be afraid. I respect their team but we go there looking to win."
