Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

I'll start with the latest on my injury. I'm doing some strengthening work and that's where we are at the moment. I'm trying to stay pain free because as soon as I feel it, I've aggravated it and that will set me back.
It's coming on slowly, it's very frustrating but hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be ready again.
I went to watch the Wales game on Saturday. It was the first time I've been to the Millennium Stadium to watch a game and it was brilliant. It was a good atmosphere before the game and I thought the lads played well in the first half.

It was a funny game because there was nothing on it, it was almost like a friendly, but they scored three goals and we then had to try and get something out of the game. I'm sure everyone had an eye on the play-offs.
Russia were one of the strongest teams of the 10 in the hat and it will be a difficult game. We've got the home leg second so if we can go out there and hang onto a decent result it will be set up for us at home. We will all need to be on our games and then we'll have a good chance.
We can go out there and draw, a win would be great but even if we lose by the odd goal, we want something to give us a realistic chance of coming home and going through. We don't want to get turned over in Russia and lose before we get them at home. We need to get out there, keep it tight and then go for it.
I can just imagine the Millennium Stadium if we've got a chance of going through and that's at the back of my mind already. Hopefully I'll be fit before then, play for Spurs and be involved. It's been four weeks now and I'll have to do some fitness work but hopefully it will fall kindly for me.
It's Leicester next for us on Sunday and that means coming up against Les Ferdinand, Ian Walker and Ben Thatcher.
Walks and Les were here when I first got here, great lads and I got to know them well. Les really helped myself and Matty early on and is a real gentlemen, always there for you. Ben Thatcher is, well, Ben Thatcher. He was a great character to have around the dressing room, all the lads loved him and it was a shame he left. It will be nice to see them all again but I'm sure they'll be out to put one over us, as we will to them.
All the best,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Simon
