I'm still devastated about Wales after we lost our Euro 2004 play-off against Russia on Wednesday night.
I went down to Cardiff on Tuesday night, stayed with my brother, went to see the lads at the hotel on Wednesday afternoon and travelled to the ground on the team bus. Everyone was so focused and looking forward to it. I really thought we were going to win.

I watched the game with my friends in the stand because I wanted to soak up the atmosphere and it really was electric. It was fantastic to be there.
We had three good chances in the game. Everyone worked so hard and gave everything but the first half wasn't the best performance, although I still thought we looked dangerous. The effort the lads put in the second half was immense but it just didn't happen.
The boys were so low afterwards, I can't describe it. I'm still thinking about it now so you can imagine what it was like for them - this will be a difficult one to get over.
I suppose you have to look at it this way - look at where we are now compared to when Mark Hughes took over. We've come on so much and we've a real chance of qualifying for tournaments now and I'm sure we will, I'd like to think we'll be in a similar position when it comes to qualifying for the next World Cup.
The World Cup draw comes around soon and I can't wait for qualifying to start.
As far as the injury is concerned I've got to a certain level but I'm still feeling a little pain. It's as we were really and as I've said many times now, it is very frustrating missing out.
Villa are next for us on Sunday. They will be tough, they are always well organised although we managed to win 1-0 on both occasions against them last season. It will be difficult one but I'm sure the lads are raring to go after Arsenal.
 All the best,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Simon
