Simon Davies is closing in on a return to action after successful surgery on his shin problems six weeks ago.
The popular midfielder has been in full training for a week and determined to get his career back on track after what has been a nightmare year.
He's managed just a handful of games since suffering a hip complaint last September and then shin problems at the turn of the year.
"Everything's gone really well so far," reported Simon. "I've been in full training for a week and with the running I've done beforehand, I feel good.
"It's just a matter of games now. I don't know when that will be but I feel I'm available now.
"It's been a year since I've played free of injury. It's been difficult. Touch wood I'm pain free for the first time in a long time so I'm looking to get back in the team and do well."
