The Cherries have taken one point from their last three Premier League games and were last week on the end of a 5-1 defeat at Manchester City.
Eric knows our hosts will be determined to respond against us on the south coast, even with some key players on the sidelines, but he’s underlined the need for us to take our own chances in order to bounce back from Thursday’s disappointing Europa League defeat to Anderlecht.
“It’ll be very tough,” said the 21-year-old, who is back in the fold after missing last week’s draw with Liverpool due to suspension.
“Bournemouth might have struggled in the last couple of weeks but they’re a good side and I think they’ve proved a point to a lot of people already this season.
“Obviously they’ve got a few injuries now and they’re going to be up for it like every game, but we’ve got to be just as determined as them and go and get the three points.
“I think we’ve been getting in the right positions and we’ve been defending well in most of our recent games so we just need to make sure we take our chances.
“This is a new game now and we’ll go into it and try to win.”
