Didier Zokora provided some of the great images of last season's Carling Cup win. As he prepares to return to Wembley, he describes these days as ‘the best moments of my life'.
Television cameras caught the midfielder looking away as Dimitar Berbatov stepped up to take his penalty against Chelsea in last year's final and stayed on him as he clenched his fists in delight as the equaliser hit the back of the net.
"I never look at the penalty. I'm not scared - it's just me," laughed Didier as he reflected on that key moment.
There was more drama to come as Didier broke clear in the final minutes of normal time. What better time to score his first goal for Spurs? Would he be the hero? Thirty-thousand Spurs fans held their collective breath but Petr Cech saved and we're all still waiting for that first goal.
"I've never scored for Spurs and I had a great chance to score my first goal," he recalled. "What a game to do it! For me, it was a surprise. I was determined to score my first goal, but that's football.
"We won the Carling Cup, so I was happy. I'm sure I will soon score my first goal for Spurs. I know it's coming!
"This is a massive game," continued the all-action Ivory Coast international. "Last year it was Chelsea, this time it's Manchester United, the biggest team in the world.
"For me, these are the best moments of my life.
"Every game is important but Sunday is vital because if we win, we then qualify for the UEFA Cup again. So if we win, it's like winning twice. For the fans, it's massive as well.
"Every player will be ready."
