Didier - Key game

Didier Zokora feels tonight's FA Cup tie against Wigan could play a big part psychologically when the teams meet again for precious league points next weekend.

The third round encounter at the Lane (8pm) is followed by the first leg of our Carling Cup semi-final against Burnley on Tuesday (7.45pm) before we head north to Lancashire to face Wigan again at the JJB, this time in the Premier League on Sunday (1.30pm).

"Wigan are playing very well," said Didier, referring to the Latics' fine recent form of five wins in their last six matches, taking them up to seventh in the Premier League.

"They are a compact team and strong with quality players but we're not fearful of anyone when we play at White Hart Lane. We're at home and our fans give us confidence.

"If we manage to win, it will be great for the confidence because we then play Burnley in another big game on Tuesday and then it's Wigan again in the Premier League.

"It's important to win with a good performance because then, mentally, we will be very strong for the Premier League. If we don't play well and concede a draw or lose, then the mentality is different.

"I hope we play well and win this game."
