Didier Zokora paid a special visit to St George's Primary School, Enfield, last week to take part in football activities with Year 6 pupils alongside the Club's football freestyler Billy Wingrove.
The event was part of our commitment to Premier League community initiative Creating Chances, running throughout October and November.
The initiative aims to highlight the continued and increasing commitment the 20 Barclays Premier League clubs have to their local communities.
This event was run by coaches from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, which uses sport and in particular football as a vehicle to improve the quality of life and outcomes for children and young people in our communities.
Didier took part in the full range of fun activities on offer to the children, before joining Billy Wingrove in an entertaining display of skills to round off the afternoon.
Wingrove is the UK's top Football Freestyler. He has developed an amazing array of tricks and skills and is the first freestyler to be signed to a Premier League football club.
Didier said: "I really enjoy working with children and it's great that the Club give local kids opportunities like this to play football.
"Getting the chance to play at school was important to me in my development, and I would really like to coach children myself when I finish playing, so I really enjoyed the day."
St George's Primary is one of the many schools throughout the Tottenham Hotspur's local communities to receive football coaching for boys and girls aged 5-14 from the Foundation as part of the Soccer Schools programme.
A typical day's activity involves registration, dynamic warm-up, skills sessions including passing, dribbling, turning and shooting and skills games and competitions.
