The Ivory Coast midfielder - recruited from St Etienne during the close season - has demonstrated what he is all about in a tough sequence of games that he reports have much for his confidence.
"I am really happy because I have played three good games against Manchester United, Slavia Prague and Fulham," said Didier in his quickly-improving English. "I am confident now.
"I am a new player and integration can be difficult at first. It is all good now, I am learning to speak English and settling into the team.
"The Premiership is fantastic, more aggressive and, for me, this is good. I like it, I play in midfield and the best midfielders in the Premier League have been aggressive. That is my position," he added, before stating his belief that good results are not far away.
"We have good players, young players and when we get winning - which we will - it will be good for the team. The motivation is there and the points will follow."
A tough assignment is looming this weekend in the quest to bank Premiership points. Didier is well aware of Liverpool's strengths and is full of admiration for two of their midfielders in particular.
"Liverpool didn't win against Chelsea and that was a difficult game for them. They are a strong team, but we want to win, although it will be difficult.
"I know Momo Sissoko because he was a player in the French league with Auxerre before he went to Valencia and Liverpool. He is a very good player, a midfielder who is quick, aggressive and strong."
And Steven Gerrard?
"Oh, fantastic. The best player in England, for me. He is a good passer, can score goals, is intelligent - just a top player."
Didier Zokora declared himself happy with the way his form is developing after impressing in his last three starts.
