Determined to banish Blues

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

John Gorman is fully aware of Chelsea's quality - but he's confident we can come away with some reward from Saturday's clash at Stamford Bridge.

It's another vital encounter after Wednesday night's crushing late defeat against Newcastle United saw us slip down a place to eighth in the Premiership.

Chelsea, meanwhile, stayed hot on the heels of the top three with a battling victory against Leeds United.

"They are obviously a very good team with some quality players - the likes of Zola, Gudjohnsen and Hasselbaink up front, Lampard and Petit in midfield and Cudicini in goal," said assistant boss John.

"But we played very well against them back at White Hart Lane in November and Cudicini was the difference that day.

"We know it's a big game for us after Newcastle. They are another good side but we deserved at least a draw on Wednesday night and we were robbed by the decision to give Gus Poyet's goal offside. That was a terrible decision and it was very frustrating for us.

"But the lads' spirit has been excellent. We've trained today and they are up for it, I can assure everyone.

"It's a derby, a big game and the lads are ready for it. Chelsea is always a tough fixture but the lads are determined. The belief is there."
