After departing from Gatwick at 8.30pm, an overnight flight saw the travelling party land in Dubai at 2.30am UK, 6.30am local time.
A light session is scheduled for today and training will start in earnest on Saturday.
Coach Chris said: "Basically we were looking for somewhere to train for four days, a few teams have been here and it's highly recommended.
"First and foremost this is a training break - the emphasis is on training and we're in a training environment.
"Of course, it's ideal for the lads to come to a warmer climate. We've come off a spell of a lot of games in a short period of time, we have a two-and-a-half week gap between games and we were looking for a change of environment. That could have been in England but we decided to come out here.
"The facilities are very good here and I'm sure the change of environment will be good for everyone."
The lads arrived in Dubai in the early hours of this morning - Chris Hughton explains the theory behind this warm weather training break.
