Callum Tapping’s strike 13 minutes from time gave our Under-18s a 1-0 victory over North London rivals Arsenal in the Premier Academy League at Spurs Lodge on Saturday.
The Scottish full-back capitalised on a defensive error to keep Alex Inglethorpe’s side on a run that has seen them lose just once in the last 10 games.
It was a scrappy affair overall with the visitors arguably having the better chances, finding Jordan Archer in fine form in the Spurs goal.
However, Paul McBride did fire over from a good position earlier in the second half, and there was also a goal-mouth scramble late on that saw Alex McQueen just out of reach of sealing the points.
