Everything was in place for the dream debut after Mousa scored just 23 minutes into his first Spurs appearance.
It was a superb strike as well. Picking up the ball from Jermain Defoe 20 yards out, Mousa turned away from Jonny Howson before driving low into the far corner.
However, the Canaries struck with five minutes left as it ended 1-1 at the Lane.
“The supporters were very warm towards me and I scored, so I was happy I could give something back,” said Mousa, snapped up from Fulham last week.
“But I’m very disappointed we didn’t win the game at home.
“I thought when we scored that we’d perhaps get the second, but the unexpected happened and that was difficult for us.
“We have to keep our confidence and try to win every game.”
