With international football now on the back-burner until the New Year, we return to Premier League action against our London rivals at White Hart Lane, kick-off 4pm.
Seen by some as the first game of the long winter period following the latest round of continental games, midfielder Dele insists the schedule is no busier than what it has been in recent months.
But with the usual one-game-at-a-time approach in mind, the England international has highlighted how our sole focus for today is on getting three points against the Hammers.
“We’re in really good form, we’ve been playing well and we’re looking forward to taking on West Ham,” said the 19-year-old.
“It feels like we’ve had a busy schedule for a while now – before the international break we had three games in six days so we’re used to it, but it’ll still be tough over the next few weeks. We’ve got a big squad here, though, with a lot of good players so I’m sure any rotation will work well as we go on. We’ve just got to make sure that we recover well, keep preparing for each game and not get too carried away with looking into the future.
“We’ll just take each game as it comes and it’s no different for West Ham today. It’s not going to be easy but we have a game plan, we’ll look to stick to it and I’m sure we’ll do well.
“The match is at our place as well, the fans will be behind us to give us that extra edge and hopefully we can finish the match off by getting three points.”
