Game at a time - Dele

It’s an old footballing cliché, but Dele Alli says we can really only take it a game at a time as we face Leicester City in a huge double-header at the Lane in the space of four days.

First up, it’s an FA Cup third round tie on Sunday (4pm) before we meet again in the Premier League on Wednesday night (8pm).

It’s second versus fourth in the Premier League on both counts and a mouth-watering couple of matches in prospect.

“As a team we’re confident against whoever we play,” said Dele, who opened his goalscoring account against the Foxes in August’s 1-1 draw at the KC.

“We want to win every game we play so first we’ll focus on the FA Cup on Sunday and then the Premier League next week.

“We played really well against Everton last week but there were a few things we have to improve from that game and we’ve worked on that this week. We’re in good form and everyone is working hard.”

Dele certainly sees that work ethic as one of the keys to Leicester's success.

“Leicester are a great team and they’ve surprised a few people this season, full credit to them,” he added. “The players all work hard for each other, just like us.

“These will be interesting games - hopefully we’ll manage to get two wins.”
