Winner of the PFA Young Player of the Year prize last season, 21-year-old Dele has once again been nominated for that honour in 2016-17, having enjoyed another tremendous campaign in which he's currently on 19 goals in all competitions.

Club and country team-mate Harry Kane, named Young Player of the Year the season before Dele in 2014-15, is up for the double again – the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year. The striker, 23, has now been nominated for both awards for three seasons in a row.

Current holder of the Premier League's Golden Boot, Harry has bagged 24 goals in all competitions already this term, despite missing a combined total of 11 weeks with two separate spells out through injury.

The 44th PFA Awards will be held at the Grosvenor House in London on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

PFA members from 100 clubs (Premier League, EFL and WSL) had their say as the shortlists of nominees were compiled.
