Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is hosting another Open Day at White Hart Lane Stadium on Wednesday 16 February 2011, 10:00am – 1:00pm, for FdA Applied Sport and Community Development.
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s newly validated degree is currently in the first academic year and is in partnership with Middlesex University.
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the first Premier League club community scheme to offer a degree to students.
The course covers a range of key areas of both Sport and Community Development with a main aim of increasing and widening participation across a broad range of sports, education, employment and health initiatives to the diverse communities of North London.
Students will be mainly based at White Hart Lane where 3 of the 4 modules will be held, 1 module will be based at Middlesex University – Hendon Campus.
One of the White Hart Lane-based modules will be a work placement involving students supporting the Foundation’s current projects and providing them with direct experience of a community development department within a Premier League club.
