Degree Open Day held at the Lane

Posted on 19 December 2011  - 09:00

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation recently hosted an Open Day for the FdA in Applied Sport and Community Development at White Hart Lane.

The day saw Grant Cornwell, CEO of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, Joe Lyons, Education, Enterprise, Employment and Skills Manager and Laura Cornell, Senior Higher Education Development Office, welcome prospective students and hold interactive taster sessions to demonstrate the course content and unique elements of the programme.

The Open Day was the first of the academic year where people can find out the content and the opportunities available to them through the duration of the course and once it has been completed.

The course offers a unique opportunity to study and work within a Premier League Football Club. The programme is delivered in conjunction with Middlesex University and is based predominately at White Hart Lane Stadium, utilising fantastic facilities such as the Spurs Learning Zone.

Our next Open Day will be held in February where we will showcase the FdA Applied Sport and Community Development alongside the new degree course due to begin next year, FdA Applied Hospitality and Nutrition (subject to validation).

The nature of the courses means that vocational and work-based learning is the core element. We combine academic study with practical work placements in order to provide students with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to work within the industry.

Tottenham Hotspur provides a unique learning environment where candidates can build their self-esteem and confidence, raise their aspirations and gain new skills and knowledge to help improve future education, training and employment opportunities.

For more information on both of the courses please contact or call 020 8365 5138.
