Defoe feels at home

Jermain Defoe is certainly glad to be back at White Hart Lane.

True, the England striker has had the misfortune to be sidelined with a foot injury since returning from Portsmouth in January.

But moving to another club has brought home to Jermain just what a special club we are. And he's 'amazed' by our incredible international fan base.

"You meet Spurs fans everywhere, no matter where you go in the world," he tells the April issue of hotspur magazine.

"It's only when you leave that you realise how big the Club is."

Defoe is the subject of the magazine's 'Onside' question-and-answer feature where he admits that he can't stop getting his hair cut every week and that he loves St Lucia, the food, the geography and the relaxed environment.

And his favourite goal? Against Arsenal in the 5-4 when he cut through the visiting defence and fired home via post and bar.

Every Spurs fan still savours that moment!

It's all in hotspur - our new-look official magazine that is a 'must' for all Spurs fans.

And readers have the chance to win two different shirts in this issue - Roman Pavlyuchenko's Russian international jersey or a signed 1984 UEFA Cup Final replica.

The April hotspur - on sale now at £3.45 from all Spurs outlets, supermarkets and your local newsagent while subscribers have the opportunity to get a full year's subscription for the price of 10 issues with no extra charge for postage and packing. Don't miss it!
