Dean Richards says we have a point to prove at Old Trafford on Saturday.
United beat us 5-3 and 4-0 in the Premiership last season.
Few will forget that first game at the Lane, not least Dean. It was his debut after joining us from Southampton, he opened the scoring, helped us go 3-0 up at the break but was then left stunned as the then-champions stormed back with five-star, five-goal second half display.
For many neutrals, it was the domestic game of the season. For Dean, one to forget.
He recalled: "It was my debut, I scored early on and everything was going so well but it turned out disastrous.
"It was one of those games, end to end all the way but in the second half they were phenomenal to be honest. We just couldn't handle it."
The trip to Old Trafford last March was just as miserable for Dean and his team-mates.
Having competed well for 40 minutes, Mauricio Taricco was controversially sent off and we ended up on the wrong side of a 4-0 loss.
"We'll be looking to put things right," added Dean. "We had a disappointing result up there as well. Yes, I think we've a point to prove. It would be nice to go up there and get something from the game.
"We're in a good frame of mind. I was telling people on Sunday that we've still much more to come. Just look at the players we've got to come back, Gus, Ledley, Carry, Darren, that will only be good for us."
