Darren Bent earned the praise of Harry Redknapp after shooting to the top of the goalscoring charts with his match-winning double at City.
The striker made it five goals in a week with one in each half to secure maximum points at Eastlands and take us off the bottom of the Premier League.
Indeed, the victory lifted us from 20th to 16th place.
The brace made it 11 goals in all competitions for Darren - seven in the Premier League, four in the UEFA Cup - and he's now joint-top of the chart with Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka, who scored both of his side's goals at Blackburn. Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor and Wigan hitman Amir Zaki are third equal on nine.
"It's been an amazing week for Darren, he's got 11 goals now and he's in great form," said Harry at Eastlands.
"He's starting games, looks confident, his finishing has been excellent and 11 goals in all competitions is fantastic.
"Pavlyuchenko has done well as well, he's scored a couple of goals and Fraizer Campbell has impressed me as well, he'll do well when he gets his chance - there is competition for places and that's great for us."
