Darren Anderton relished his first 90 minutes of the season against Coventry and says he is now focused on pushing on and enjoying the remainder of the campaign.
Darren suffered with slight hamstring problems in pre-season and didn't make his first start until the Chelsea game two week's ago after coming on as sub the week before against Fulham. He was a half-time replacement for Stephane Dalmat against Southampton and was handed a start at Highfield Road where he certainly seized his opportunity.
"It was always going to be a difficult game, but I thought we started well and it was quite comfortable in the end," he looked back, before saying that the team were in a very positive frame of mind ahead of the game.
"You've got to be, you've got to get on with the football. What has happened here happens in football and you've got to get on with it. It was a difficult game to come and play in and we did well.
"I enjoyed it. It is the first 90 minutes I've had this season and I felt good. I am looking forward to pushing on now and enjoying the rest of the season."
