The Club can report that it has completed the transfer of Michael Dawson from Nottingham Forest.
Dawson reflected that he had no doubts at all in making the decision to become a Spurs player.
The 21-year-old was all smiles at Spurs Lodge as he contemplated the prospect of becoming a Premiership player.
"I'm so glad it is sorted and I had no doubts about the move whatsoever," said the 6ft 2" central defender. "When the chance to come to a place like this came along I made up my mind straight away.
"It has always been my dream to play in the Premiership, there has been a lot of speculation over the last few years and finally my chance has come. I can't wait to pull the shirt on and hopefully do well."
The Northallerton-born player was two years ago invited to train with the England squad by Sven Goran Eriksson and he is hoping his switch to Spurs will bring about a repeat performance.
"That's it, it was a couple of years ago when I was away with the under-21s and joined up with the full squad and had a training session there. In the last couple of years it has quietened down and now Tottenham have come in and given me a chance - I want to grab it with both hands.
"There is big competition for places here and that is good, I think. It will bring a lot out of me, coming to a massive club like this and learning from good players. I just can't wait.
