Michael Dawson was on the scoresheet as England under-21s secured a European Championship play-off place with a 4-0 victory over Wales in Wrexham.
Germany and England top Group Six with 17 points and the two nations go head to on on Tuesday in Mainz in a game which is expected to determine the group winners.
Michael scored his first goal for Peter Taylor's side on 67 minutes with England already two to the good following strikes from Jon Stead and Peter Whittingham. The Aston Villa player added another in the final minute.
Calum Davenport was an unused substitute for England.
