Michael Dawson is hoping for an improved performance when we face Manchester United in the FA Cup 4th Round on Saturday.
The defender has admitted that Wednesday night's Carling Cup semi-final second leg defeat at Burnley was unacceptable, even though we did book our place in the Final on aggregate.
‘Daws' was involved when we were defeated 3-1 at Old Trafford at the same stage of this competition last year, but claims that will have no impact this time around.
"We'll go there and play with no fear", he said. "Last year we did well until we conceded a goal just before half-time, which gave them a massive lift.
"But hopefully we'll put on a good performance this year, improve on Wednesday night's display, and enjoy the day."
Although we are bound to have one eye on Tuesday's crucial Premier League clash with Stoke at The Lane, ‘Daws' insists we will be looking to do nothing else but win at Old Trafford.
He added: "You want to win every football match you go into, and Saturday will be no different - we won't got there thinking anything else.
"We've got a massive game on Tuesday and the manager has said what is most important, which is right.
"We're not in a great position in the league and the most important thing for us this season is that we climb up the table.
"But we're looking forward to Saturday and going to Old Trafford and trying to win the game."
