The Welsh midfielder had complained of a lack of energy in recent weeks but he's been given the green light again after a series of tests.
Head Coach Martin said: "Simon had a virus a couple of weeks ago and felt a bit weak, so we had tests and everything was fine.
"He will start training tomorrow for three or four days and then he'll have another assessment. He won't be playing in a week but he'll be training.
"He's had problems with his fitness because of injury and now because of the virus.
"We played him against Charlton and he told me he didn't feel strong. I think he's a terrific player but if you are not 100 per cent, it is difficult in the Premier League."
Martin Jol has revealed that Simon Davies is set to return to training tomorrow after a recent virus.
