The midfielder has been sidelined with the problem since the 4-4 draw against Leicester City at the Lane on February 22.
He reports that there is still some inflammation in the shin and until the pain clears, he will not be able to return.
It's a frustrating time for the 24-year-old having missed a chunk of the season with a hip injury.
"It has improved but not enough at the moment," said Simon at Spurs Lodge yesterday. "It's been so frustrating. You can really let injuries get to you and it has got to me this season.
"We've nine games left and I'd love to be able to play in the last five or six. That's my aim.
"Hopefully I'll do that and we've a couple of internationals in the summer as well and that's it, head down and get ready for next season.
"I didn't really have an injury before this season. I had five or six seasons injury free. I suppose it happens to everyone so I have to take it on the chin."
Simon Davies is determined to shake off a shin injury and feature in the run in to the season.
