We had a very good first half against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup on Saturday and played some good football. The boys moved the ball around the field well and we scored good goals.
The third goal killed the game rather quickly and, overall, I can't fault the players. It was a potential banana skin, we all knew it and we now go on from here.
I called for a responsible performance and we got one. We started quite well and there were all sorts of bits and pieces in the game that kept the afternoon much warmer for watching it.
Stephane Dalmat produced some magical moments and was worth the admission money with his wonderful skills. He has to maintain that, we have to maintain the unity as a team that gets him plenty of the ball and the chance to express those skills.
Fredi has been without a goal lately and comes back with three. That's how it goes sometimes, Robbie could easily have had a couple - maybe three.
The important thing was we did the job and didn't fail our supporters. It was a result that was needed - that is for sure.
