Had the game finished with no score against Newcastle people might have debated whether it was an exciting game of not. But, of course, it finished up being exciting - certainly for us.
We've been victim to a lot of late goals, we looked at the analysis and, for sure, there have been many late goals this season. The last 15 minutes is a critical time.
Fortunately it went for us, I was please with the way we adapted twice to the shape of our team after starting quite bravely with a formation including three front players, with Robbie Keane dropping in behind. All in all, I said to them after the game that the win was like against Liverpool with an honesty, determination and a drive.
I thought Newcastle bleated a little bit about the penalty incident, but some are given and some aren't. The referee was on the spot and the assistant was able to help him and they decided that it wasn't a penalty.
It was a hard-fought win, a deserved win in my view. They didn't get a clear sight of goal too often in the whole game and we kept at it. The lads did well.
