I thought at times we did play some very good football against Everton on Saturday. I know you could say it is not that difficult when you go three goals in front in such a short period.
Overall, our passing was quite good and our movement was good. We have now registered three clean sheets in three games and players take great comfort from that. We were very porous at Manchester City and we knew they created great chances against us.
We survived and you can build on that. We didn't expose our goalkeeper against Everton, the centre-backs were very good and I'm delighted with Anthony Gardner.
I don't want to single out players though, all of them put on a performance that they can take some pride in.
I put the two 'old men' in the middle and wondered the night before which one of them would I have to change after 60 minutes. They both did well and I though Anderton pulled the strings magnificently for us.
It was a wonderful shot and goal from Fredi that gave us a reward for our efforts in the first half. Had we gone in at 0-0 it could have changed the complexion of the game. We needed to be in front because we were in pole position.
That's why we went out early for the second half, so we had to wait for them, and pick up the tempo again. Things went well for us, two quick goals and we were then able to see out the game - although we still attacked.
I think we have got some good forwards at this club. I have been very impressed with Bobby Zamora in training - he is very impressive and Postiga will do well too.
We have young strikers here and Keane was excellent.
