We had enough of the play against Aston Villa on Sunday and, in the first half, I thought we enjoyed a good share of possession.
We survived a bad first seven minutes in the second half when they had three or four attempts as we opened it up a little bit. I then changed Robbie Keane back into the role he played in the first half and we had plenty of the ball again.
We needed a break and didn't get one. The boys played with spirit, with drive, but we do need a break and couldn't quite get it.
We were slightly imbalanced, whatever system you play there is an upside and always a downside.
There is good material here and I thought we showed that today. For much of the game we had the greater possession.
We do need to bring some new players in and find the right balance.
It's been difficult but I thought the effort was there. It's just sometimes finding that win can be elusive.
