We were absolutely delighted to win against Liverpool on Saturday. We were really worried in the morning when Ledley King failed a fitness test, while Simon Davies passed his. As a result, Michael Brown played when he might not have done before.
Our anxiety was more to do with the size of the Liverpool players and our possible vulnerability at defensive set pieces. We coped with it so well and protected our goalkeeper magnificently.
All through the team, from the keeper to the wide left player - everyone gave a terrific contribution. It was a very significant win for us, we beat a very strong team on our home ground, with terrific spirit and a lot of good football.
It was a type of game that Tottenham don't often get involved with, we had to play a - not neccessarily a spoiling game - but a tough game and we are not known for it. I think a lot of people think we are a soft touch.
We competed well, we scored goals at vital times and everyone contributed. Helder Postiga made a lovely return, Simon Davies continues to do well and Michael Brown made a good debut. Our two centre backs were absolutely excellent.
I'm really very proud of them and they've all had a bottle of Champagne for their wives.
