I WAS absolutely thrilled by our win at Charlton.
We've had just about every emotion in the last week. We've won five out of six in the league, lost a cup game in between which was quite dramatic. But any criticism after that has been countered.
You have to give credit to our players, you have to pat them on the back.
I thought the midfield, which was a young midfield, did exceptionally well at making it difficult for Charlton and allowing Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane the chance to play. They have brains and can play together, especially away on the counter.
Believe it or not I was calm at 3-2 and I felt the same against City because we only needed a goal. That will be on my gravestone 'just one more goal' - I always feel if you are 3-2 down and you believe in your team you might always get that goal. You get nervous, I don't deny that. I don't know what I would have said if we'd drawn 3-3 or lost 4-3.
But the lads came through. We've had the highs and lows and that's why I'm thrilled for them.
