The England forward entered the field as a half-time substitute with the Danish side two goals ahead, but a tremendous fightback after the interval ensured we secured a 3-2 win which has now put us top of UEFA Cup Group G with six points ahead of our final game of the group phase next week away in Anderlecht.
“We did not get off to the best of starts after going 1-0 down so early but we showed what we were all about in the second half and got the result,” said Darren.
“All season we have looked like we were always going to score goals but obviously the gaffer is working hard on trying to keep them out at the other end as well.
“We showed what we were capable of in the second half and that you will have to score more goals than us to beat us.
“One of the reasons I came to this club was for the European nights and it showed out there. We are delighted with the result.”
