The flying full-back signed from Leeds United as a 17-year-old back in July, 2007 and after a slow start to his career at the Lane, has blossomed into England's number one left-back, and arguably the best in the Premier League.
Danny's ton-up came in the 1-0 loss at Old Trafford but he helped us get straight back to winning ways with another dynamic display alongside fellow full-back Kyle Walker in a 3-0 win against Hull on Wednesday night. Danny and Kyle were constant thorns for Hull down both sides, and set-up our first two goals for Christian Eriksen.
"There are exciting times and I've been here long enough to appreciate that," said Danny, who now has 137 appearances for us in all competitions.
"We've got a squad full of winners, we all want to win, we all want to do well for each other, to fight for each other.
"I want the best for my team and I will always put my body on the line, to do what I need to do to try to win the Club three points in every game we play."
Danny is the sixth player in the current squad to play 100 times for us in the Premier League with Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Walker. Meanwhile, Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Erik Lamela have all past the 100-game mark for us in all competitions.
