Peter Crouch tells Saturday's official matchday programme that it's no surprise to see Blackburn looking up rather than down in the Premier League.

Rovers arrive at the Lane on Saturday on a run of four wins, a draw and two defeats in their last seven matches and sitting comfortably in 12th in the league, 10 points clear of the drop zone and looking to push on.

"They have some good players and they are playing well," said 'Crouchy', who scored both goals in our 2-0 win at Ewood Park in December - one of only two home defeats for Rovers this term.

"Sam Allardyce has been in the Premier League for a long time now and always seems to get the best out of his players and he's certainly doing that at Blackburn.

"They are strong, difficult to break down and we did very well to win at Ewood Park, that was a great result for us.

"We played well that day and it was great to score a couple of goals. We deserved that victory and now we'll look to put on a similar performance and try to get another positive result in front of our fans."
