Robbie Keane believes that goals breed confidence - so the team should take plenty of that vital ingredient into Sunday's home meeting with Bolton Wanderers at the Lane.We are on the back of two away victories - Fulham in the FA Cup and Everton in the Premiership - with six goals scored in the process, two from the vice-captain, three from Dimitar Berbatov, plus Jermaine Jenas' crucial strike at Goodison Park.

"Goals provide confidence and from every chance and from most chances we've had we seemed to score," said Robbie of the last two games. "That wasn't the case before, we were probably a bit low on confidence, but that didn't show against Fulham and Everton.

"If wins like that don't give you confidence to go into the next game then I don't know what does.

"Bolton is a game the lads are now looking forward to. Sam Allardyce is a great manager who has bought in some top players like Anelka, who has been brilliant for them this season.

"They have been fantastic so it will be another massive game for us, but we usually do okay against them at home. Hopefully that will be the case again," continued Robbie, who insists that the picking up of Premiership points remains a priority for the team.

"The league now means everything. It is there to see that we haven't done as well as we'd like to have done, but we should have the confidence now to take into the game.

"If we can do well we will be right back in it again."
