Gareth Bale insists confidence is the key to our fine form.

The Welsh wizard struck twice as we made it six wins and a draw in our last seven matches in the Premier League with a 3-1 win against QPR on Sunday.

Rafa van der Vaart also scored in his fifth-consecutive league match as we threatened to run riot in the first half at White Hart Lane.

"The confidence is high, we’re all working for each other, that’s the most important thing and the wins are coming.

"Confidence is massively important. All the lads have got that confidence and when you have it, you express yourself and that’s when you play your best football."

Gareth's second goal secured the points, a beauty into the top corner after interplay with Scott Parker, Rafa and a couple of one-twos with Aaron Lennon.

"It was great to score a goal like that, it helped us get the three points and that's the most important thing," he added.

"We've been playing some great football, scoring plenty of goals and hopefully we can keep it going."
