Chris Hughton has praised the contribution of Fredi Kanoute since the striker joined the club just before the start of the season.
Of course, the most obvious statistic is the six goals the Frenchman has netted in our colours since arriving, but an element of his game that might have taken a few people by surprise is his prodigious workrate on and off the ball.
"Yes, but we knew that," said Chris. "He obviously had his injury problems at West Ham, but if you speak to people there they tell you he was very highly thought of.
"Not only for his threat in the penalty box, but for his workrate outside of it. Also, if there is an area that we've been absolutely delighted with is the disciplines he shows working from the front.
"We needed to have more options up front and it is not just about Fredi, Robbie Keane has come back from an injury and Helder Postiga and Bobby Zamora have all done great for us."
